We make VideoSaysHi, so read this with that in mind. Real estate agents use interactive video for four jobs: signing in open house visitors, qualifying buyers from listing videos, finding sellers, and booking the first call or showing. Here is how the main tools handle each one, with facts from each company’s own website.
In short
For open houses, listing videos and booked showings, VideoSaysHi fits best: kiosk mode and QR codes for the open house, a built-in booking calendar, and leads sent to Follow Up Boss from the $99 Pro plan. VideoAsk suits agents who want buyers to reply on camera, and Hippo Video suits teams where each agent sends personal videos.
What an agent needs from an interactive video tool
- An open house sign-in that works on a tablet at the door and starts over for each visitor.
- A question or two on the listing video, such as buying or selling and when, so each viewer sees the right next video.
- A booking step for a call, a consultation or a showing, without sending people to another site.
- Leads in your CRM with their answers, so follow-up starts the same day.
- Spanish, if some of your buyers and sellers prefer it.
VideoSaysHi: built for open houses and booked showings
- Open house sign-in on a tablet. Kiosk mode runs any funnel at the door and starts over for each visitor. A QR code puts the same funnel on flyers, listing sheets and signs.
- Leads arrive in Follow Up Boss from the Pro plan, with their answers, where they came from and any booking. With the automatic setting, kiosk leads arrive as “Visited Open House”, people who say they want to sell as “Seller Inquiry”, and everyone else as “General Inquiry”.
- Showings and calls booked on the video. The built-in calendar checks your Google, Outlook or Apple calendar and sends invites, reminders and reschedule links.
- Every lead ready to call, with a score, its path and an AI lead brief.
- Spanish and Arabic funnels for bilingual markets, including buttons, forms, booking times and emails.
- Plans: Starter is $49 a month for 3 funnels and 5 videos. Follow Up Boss needs Pro, at $99 a month.

VideoAsk: when buyers should reply on camera
VideoAsk, made by Typeform, lets people answer your video by video, audio or text, in their own time. It has branching, scoring, a contact form, a calendar step through Calendly, Acuity, OnceHub or HubSpot Meetings, and HubSpot and Salesforce integrations.
Pricing: free on the Start plan, with up to 3 steps per videoask and 20 minutes of video and audio a month. Grow is $30 a month for 100 minutes, and Brand starts at $50 a month.
For agents: a good fit if you want buyers to record their questions about a listing. Booking needs one of those scheduling tools, and minutes are used whenever video or audio is recorded or uploaded.
Hippo Video: personal videos from each agent
Hippo Video is a video platform for sales, marketing and support teams, with AI video creation, polls, call-to-action buttons, meeting links and replies on video. It connects to HubSpot, Salesforce, Outreach, Salesloft and Zapier, and is priced per user, with a free plan.
For agents: a fit for teams where each agent records personal follow-up videos. It is priced per user, so the cost grows with the team.
Mindstamp: more for training than for listings
Mindstamp adds questions, buttons, hotspots and branching to a video and reports what each viewer did. It is aimed at training, marketing and sales teams. When we checked, plans started at $99 a month for 5 videos, and HubSpot needed the $499 Pro plan.
For agents: useful for training a team or for detailed viewer reports, less so for open houses and showings.
